The following guidelines are in accordance with the Policy and Procedures manual regarding the volunteer fees.
All WCYHA families are required to volunteer a MINIMUM of 10 hours per family for the current season.
Each event in need of volunteers will be emailed to all WYHA families with a link to a document where each family can fill in when and where they would like to volunteer.
The event coordinator will be responsible for verifying hours worked at their event. The Volunteer Coordinator will then fill each families hours in the spreadsheet located at the link below. This spreadsheet will tally your hours for the year. You can check it whenever you like. If you have a concern about the hours worked at an event, please contact the event coordinator
It is the responsibility of each family to track their own hours and have them updated before March 31, 2013 to receive credit for their volunteer hours.
Hours are accumulated based on actual time spent on the activity.
Managers are responsible for submitting the Team Volunteer Form.

In addition, Managers, Schedulers, Head Coaches and two assistant coaches per team receive the 10 hours needed to complete the volunteer requirement for the hockey season.
